Description: This course covers the theoretical and practical aspects of pharmacophore modeling and in silico preclinical trials. Students will learn how to develop pharmacophore models, use them for virtual screening, and perform in silico preclinical trials to predict drug efficacy, toxicity, and pharmacokinetics. The course also includes a case study where pharmacophore models were used to identify novel drug candidates. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, learners will be able to: Understand the theory of pharmacophore modeling and how it is applied in drug discovery. Build and use pharmacophore models for virtual screening. Conduct in silico preclinical trials to predict drug efficacy and safety. Apply pharmacophore modeling and in silico trials in a real-world case study.
